(I found this poem brilliantly written. We (me + a close buddy) almost planned to steal this away from the tent during the exhibit. Turns out, the author was also a friend of mine. This piece means a lot to me and it would make me a selfish bastard to keep this from you guys.)

She is poetry;
ethereal no matter
how many times
I try to understand
this metaphor with
a beating heart.

I may never will—
still I read on
her verses and
difinitive line breaks
even when I am
not a poet myself.

When I can never
deny she was
written so hauntingly
beautiful.

filmsandreveries:

Hi guys! It’s been a week since the amazing author of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Ransom Riggs, had his book signing. As you may or may not know, I had two copies signed. So as a book lover who wants to share books with other book lovers too (okay i’m so repetitive), I’m doing a giveaway!

The main prize is, of course, a signed copy of Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children: imageimage

Also, since this is my first ever give away (and i want it to be real grand), I’m throwing these in too:

Giveaway will end in two weeks. Last day of sending in your entries is on March 24, 2013. Winners will be announced the day after! I hope you guys, join! ♥

Now this is a giveaway worth winning. I love everything on stake here. [: I know the world is not a wish granting factory (according to J.G.) but for once, pretty please, Universe?
